parā pratyak-citī-rūpā paśyantī para-devatā ।
madhyamā vaikharī-rūpā bhakta-mānasa-haṁsikā ॥ 81॥

Parā: Who is the Parā or the Transcendent Word (above the other lower stages of speech known as Paśyantī, Madhyama and Vaikharī).
pratyak-citī-rūpā: Who is in the form of consciousness turned inwards (when the Reality is unmanifest in dissolution).
Paśyantī: Who is Paśyantī or speech in the inaudible stage.
Para-devatā: Who is Para-devatā the object of supreme devotion.
Madhyamā: Who is Madhyamā, or speech in the middle stage of its external expressions.
Vaikharī-rūpa: Who is Vaikharī the uttered audible speech.
bhakta-mānasa-haṁsikā: Who is the swan sporting in the Mānasa lake of Her devotees’ minds.

kāmeśvara-prāṇanāḍī kṛtajñā kāma-pūjitā ।
śṛṅgāra-rasa-sampūrṇā jayā jālandhara-sthitā ॥ 82॥

kāmeśvara-prāṇanāḍī: Who is the very life of Her Consort Kāmeśvara.
kṛtajñā: Who knows all that men do.
Kāma-pūjitā: Who is adored by Manmathā the god of love (or who dwells in the Mūlādhāra Chakra).
śṛṅgāra-rasa-sampūrṇā: Who is the essence of Love (or who lives where love in fullness is found).
Jayā: Who is designated as the victorious one.
jālandhara-sthitā: Who is Viṣṇu-Mukhī at the holy shrine of Jālandhara (or who dwells in Viśuddhi chakra).

oḍyāṇa-pīṭha-nilayā bindu-maṇḍala-vāsinī ।
rahoyāga-kramārādhyā rahastarpaṇa-tarpitā ॥ 83॥

oḍyāṇa-pīṭha-nilayā: Who is present at holy seat or Oḍyāṇa (or who dwells in the Ajñā Chakra).
bindu-maṇḍala-vāsinī: Who dwells in the Brahma-randhra of the individual.
rahoyāga-kramārādhyā: Who is to be worshipped by secret rites.
rahastarpaṇa-tarpitā: Who is gratified by secret libations.

sadyaḥprasādinī viśva-sākṣiṇī sākṣi-varjitā ।
ṣaḍaṅga-devatā-yuktā ṣāḍguṇya-paripūritā ॥ 84॥

Sadyaḥprasādinī: Who bestows Her grace immediately on being so worshipped.
viśva-sākṣiṇī: Who is the witness of everything.
sākṣi-varjitā: Who has Herself no witness.
ṣaḍaṅga-devatā-yuktā: Who is accompanied by the deities of the six Angas (parts – heart, head, hair, eyes, armour and weapons).
ṣāḍguṇya-paripūritā: Whois endowed with the dix good qualities in perfection.

nitya-klinnā nirupamā nirvāṇa-sukha-dāyinī ।
nityā-ṣoḍaśikā-rūpā śrīkaṇṭhārdha-śarīriṇī ॥ 85॥

nitya-klinnā: Who is ever compassionate.
Nirupamā: Who is peerless

nirvāṇa-sukha-dāyinī: Who confers the bliss of Nirvana.
nityā-ṣoḍaśikā-rūpā: Who is in the form of the sixteen Nityās (Tripurasundarī with Her companions).
śrīkaṇṭhārdha-śarīriṇī: Who has a body constituting the half of Siva.

prabhāvatī prabha-rūpā prasiddhā parameśvarī ।
mūla-prakṛtir avyaktā vyaktāvyakta-svarūpiṇī ॥ 86॥

Prabhāvatī: Who is endowed with the power of effulgence (Prabhāvatī).
Prabha-rūpā: Who is the Effulgence of Power itself.
Prasiddhā: Who is the celebrated.
Parameśvarī: Who is the sovereign Supreme.
Mūla-prakṛti: Who is the first cause.
avyaktā: Who is the unmanifest state of the universe.
vyaktāvyakta-svarūpiṇī: Who is the manifest and the unmanifest states.

vyāpinī vividhākārā vidyāvidyā-svarūpiṇī ।
mahākāmeśa-nayana-kumudāhlāda-kaumudī ॥ 87॥

Vyāpinī: Who is all – pervading.
Vividhākārā: Who has many forms.
vidyāvidyā-svarūpiṇī: Who is both Knowledge and Ignorance.
mahākāmeśa-nayana-kumudāhlāda-kaumudī: Who gladdens the eyes of Her Lord
Kāmeśvara as the moon gladdens the water – lilies.

bhakta-hārda-tamobheda-bhānumadbhānu-santatiḥ ।
śivadūtī śivārādhyā śiva-mūrtiḥ śivaṅkarī ॥ 88॥

bhakta-hārda-tamobheda-bhānumadbhānu-santatiḥ: Who dispels the darkness of ignorance in the minds of devotees as the sun’s rays dispel the darkness of the world.
Śivadūtī: For whom Shiva became the herald.
Śivārādhyā: Who is worshipped by Shiva.
śiva-mūrtiḥ: Whose form is Shiva.
Śivaṅkarī: Who dispenses happiness.

śivapriyā śivaparā śiṣṭeṣṭā śiṣṭa-pūjitā ।
aprameyā sva-prakāśā manovācāma-gocarā ॥ 89॥

Śivapriyā: Who is the beloved of Shiva.
Śivaparā: Who is solely devoted to Shiva.
śiṣṭeṣṭā: Who is dear to the reighteous.
śiṣṭa-pūjitā: Who is adored by the righteous.
Aprameyā: Who is the Infinite that is immeasurable.
sva-prakāśā: Who is self – illumined.
manovācāma-gocarā: Who is beyond the range of mind and speech.

cicchaktiś cetanā-rūpā jaḍaśaktir jaḍātmikā ।
gāyatrī vyāhṛtiḥ sandhyā dvijabṛnda-niṣevitā ॥ 90॥

Cicchaktiś: Who is the Power of Consciousness.
Cetanā-rūpā: Who is pure consciousness itself.
Jaḍaśaktir: Who is manifesting as the mechanical forces.
Jaḍātmikā: Who is the innermost essence of all mechanical forces.
Gāyatrī: Who is the Gāyatrī Mantra.
Vyāhṛtiḥ: Who is the seven Vyāhṛtis (invocations) of Gāyatrī Mantra.
Sandhyā: Who is the Deity for whose adoration the Sandhya (twilight worship) is done.
dvijabṛnda-niṣevitā: Who is adored by holy men at the Sandhyā worship.

tattvāsanā tattva-mayī pañca-kośāntara-sthitā ।
nissīma-mahimā nitya-yauvanā madaśālinī ॥ 91॥

Tattvāsanā: Whose seat is constituted of the Cosmic Elements (the thirty six Tattvas).
Tattva-mayī: Who is denoted by the mystic syllable Tat (That).
pañca-kośāntara-sthitā: Who is the Jīva within the five Koṣas (Psychological sheaths of the Jīva’s personality).
nissīma-mahimā: Whose glory is boundless.
Nitya yauvanā: Who is ever youthful.
Madaśālinī: Who is ever inebriated with Bliss.

madaghūrṇita-raktākṣī madapāṭala-gaṇḍabhūḥ ।
candana-drava-digdhāṅgī cāmpeya-kusuma-priyā ॥ 92॥

madaghūrṇita-raktākṣī: Whose red-tinged eyes are turned inward owing to the exuberance of bliss.
madapāṭala-gaṇḍabhūḥ: Whose cheeks are rosy with rapture.
candana-drava-digdhāṅgī: Whose person is fragrant with the scent of sandal paste.
cāmpeya-kusuma-priyā: Who is fond of the fragrant Champa flowers.

kuśalā komalākārā kurukullā kuleśvarī ।
kulakuṇḍālayā kaula-mārga-tatpara-sevitā ॥ 93॥

Kuśalā: Who is skilful.
Komalākārā: Whose form is graceful.
Kurukullā: Who is the Deity Kurukulla.
Kuleśvarī: Who is the ruler of the Kula (Suṣumnā).
Kulakuṇḍālayā: Who is the Deity in the Kula-kunda (the Mūlādhāra).
kaula-mārga-tatpara-sevitā: Who is worshipped by those who are devoted to the Kaula tradition.

kumāra-gaṇanāthāmbā tuṣṭiḥ puṣṭir matir dhṛtiḥ ।
śāntiḥ svastimatī kāntir nandinī vighna-nāśinī ॥ 94॥

kumāra-gaṇanāthāmbā: Who is the mother of Kumara and Gaṇanāthā.
Tuṣṭiḥ: Who is contentment, (Tuṣṭī) and is also worshipped as the deity Tuṣṭī.
Puṣṭī: Who is fullness (Puṣṭī) and is also the deity Puṣṭi.
Matir: Who is wisdom (mati) and is also worshipped as the deity Mati.
Dhṛtiḥ: Who is fortitude (Dhṛti) and is also worshipped as the deity Dhṛtī.
Śāntiḥ: Who is serenity.
Svastimatī: Who is benediction.
Kāntir: Who is luminosity.
Nandinī: Who bestows delight.
Vighna-nāśinī: Who puts an end to all obstacles.

tejovatī trinayanā lolākṣī-kāmarūpiṇī ।
mālinī haṁsinī mātā malayācala-vāsinī ॥ 95॥

Tejovatī: Who is effulgent.
Trinayanā: Who is endowed with three eyes.
lolākṣī-kāmarūpiṇī: Who is love in women.
Mālinī: Who wears a garland representing the fifty-one syllables of the Matruka.
Haṁsinī: Who is the Hamsa mantra (So’ham Ham’sah reverberating with every breath).
Mata: Who is the Creatrix.
Malayācala-vāsinī: Who dwells on the Malaya mountain.

sumukhī nalinī subhrūḥ śobhanā suranāyikā ।
kālakaṇṭhī kāntimatī kṣobhiṇī sūkṣma-rūpiṇī ॥ 96॥

Sumukhī: Who has a lovely face.
Nalinī: Who is called Nalinī, because her eyes, limbs etc. have the loveliness of Nalini or lotus.
Subhrūḥ: Who has attractive eyebrows.
Śobhanā: Who is all radiance with beauty.
Suranāyikā: Who is the leader of the gods.
Kālakaṇṭhī: Who is the consort of Kala – Kaṇṭha (Shiva).
kāntimatī: Who is resplendent.
Kṣobhiṇī: Who generates the creative upheaval that causes the evolution of Prakṛti at the beginning of a cycle and fructifies the Karma efficiencies of Jīvas.
sūkṣma-rūpiṇī: Whose form is subtle.

vajreśvarī vāmadevī vayo'vasthā-vivarjitā ।
siddheśvarī siddha-vidyā siddha-mātā yaśasvinī ॥ 97॥

Vajreśvarī: Who is Vajreśvarī, the Deity of a holy place known by that name.
Vāmadevī: Who is the consort of Vāmadeva (Shiva).
vayo'vasthā-vivarjitā: Who is devoid of old age and all other changes.
Siddheśvarī: Who is the supreme goddess of Siddhas or spiritual adepts.
Siddha-vidya: Whose Mantra (Śrī Vidyā) is always fruitful.
Siddha-mātā: Who is the Mother ever ready to help aspirants.
Yaśasvinī: Who is most renowned.

viśuddhi-cakra-nilayā raktavarṇā trilocanā ।
khaṭvāṅgādi-praharaṇā vadanaika-samanvitā ॥ 98॥

viśuddhi-cakra-nilayā: Who resides in the Vishuddhi Chakra.
Raktavarṇā: Who is of a rosy complexion like the Patali flower.
Trilocanā: Who has three eyes.
khaṭvāṅgādi-praharaṇā: Who is armed with a club and other weapons.
vadanaika-samanvitā: Who is with a single face.

pāyasānna-priyā tvaksthā paśuloka-bhayaṅkarī ।
amṛtādi-mahāśakti-saṁvṛtā ḍākinīśvarī ॥ 99॥

Pāyasānna-priyā: Who likes offerings of Pāyasa (milk food).
Tvaksthā: Who presides over the skin that gives the sensation of touch.
paśuloka-bhayaṅkarī: Who is frightful to the ignorant (Paśu).
amṛtādi-mahāśakti-saṁvṛtā: Who is surrounded by sixteen Śaktis beginning with Amrita.
ḍākinīśvarī: Who is the Divine Ruler Dakini.

anāhatābja-nilayā śyāmābhā vadanadvayā ।
daṁṣṭrojjvalā'kṣa-mālādi-dharā rudhira-saṁsthitā ॥ 100॥

anāhatābja-nilayā: Who is in the form of the Yogini called Rākiṇi abiding in the Anāhata Chakra.
Śyāmābhā: Who is of shining dark complexion.
Vadanadvayā: Who as Rākiṇi has two faces.
daṁṣṭrojjvala: Who has shining face.
kṣa-mālādi-dharā: Who wears a rosary etc.
rudhira-saṁsthitā: Who presides over blood in living beings.

kālarātryādi-śaktyaugha-vṛtā snigdhau-dana-priyā ।
mahāvīrendra-varadā rākiṇyambā-svarūpiṇī ॥ 101॥

kālarātryādi-śaktyaugha-vṛtā: Who is attended by Kālarātri and 11 other Śaktis.
snigdhau-dana-priyā: Who loves offerings of rice mixed with ghee.
mahāvīrendra-varadā: Who grants boons to great heroes.
rākiṇyambā-svarūpiṇī: Who is the Mother as Rākiṇi.

maṇipūrābja-nilayā vadana-traya-saṁyutā ।
vajrādi kāyudhopetā ḍāmaryādi-bhirāvṛtā ॥ 102॥

maṇipūrābja-nilayā: Who resides in the Maṇipura centre and is known as Lakini
vadana-traya-saṁyutā: Who has three faces.
vajrādi kāyudhopetā: Who has the thunderbolt and other weapons.
ḍāmaryādi-bhirāvṛtā: Who is surrounded by ten Śaktis beginning with Ḍāmarī.

raktavarṇā māṁsaniṣṭhā guḍānna-prīta-mānasā ।
samasta-bhakta-sukhadā lākinyambā-svarūpiṇī ॥ 103॥

Raktavarṇā: Who has a ruddy hue.
Māṁsaniṣṭhā: Who presides over flesh in living creatures.
guḍānna-prīta-mānasā: Who has a liking for rice cooked with jaggery.
samasta-bhakta-sukhadā: Who bestows happiness on all devotees
lākinyambā-svarūpiṇī: Who is the Mother with the form of Lākinī.

svādhiṣṭhānām-buja-gatā caturvaktra-manoharā ।
śūlādyāyudha-sampannā pītavarṇā'tigarvitā ॥ 104॥

svādhiṣṭhānām-buja-gatā: Who abides in the Svādhiṣṭhāna Chakra under the name of Kakini.
caturvaktra-manoharā: Who is fascinating with Her four faces.
śūlādyāyudha-sampannā: Who is armed with a trident and other weapons in Her four hands.
pītavarṇa: Who is yellow in hue (i.e. golden in colour).
Tigarvitā: Who is very dignified.

medoniṣṭhā madhu-prītā bandhinyādi-samanvitā ।
dadhyannāsakta-hṛdayā kākinī-rūpa-dhāriṇī ॥ 105॥

Medoniṣṭhā: Who presides over fatty substances in living beings.
madhu-prītā: Who loves to have offerings of honey.
bandhinyādi-samanvitā: Who is surrounded by Bandhini and other 5 Śaktis.
dadhyannāsakta-hṛdayā: Who loves to have offerings of curd.
kākinī-rūpa-dhāriṇī: The Mother who appears in the form of Kākinī.

mūlādhārāmbujārūḍhā pañca-vaktrā'sthi-saṁsthitā ।
aṅkuśādi-praharaṇā varadādi-niṣevitā ॥ 106॥

mūlādhārāmbujārūḍhā: Who assumes Her place in the Mūlādhāra Chakra, described as a lotus of four petals.
pañca-vaktrā: Who exhibits five faces.
sthi-saṁsthitā: Who presides over bones in living creatures.
aṅkuśādi-praharaṇā: Who is armed with a goad and other weapons.
varadādi-niṣevitā: Who is attended on by Varada and three other Śaktis.

mudgaudanāsakta-cittā sākinyambā-svarūpiṇī ।
ājñā-cakrābja-nilayā śuklavarṇā ṣaḍānanā ॥ 107॥

mudgaudanāsakta-cittā: Who loves offerings of boiled pulse and rice.
Sākinyambā-svarūpiṇī: The Mother who appears in the form of Sākinī.
ājñā-cakrābja-nilayā: The Mother who resides in the Ajñā chakra (which is described as a lotus with two petals).
Śuklavarṇā: Who is white in complexion.
Ṣaḍānanā: Who has six faces.

majjāsaṁsthā haṁsavatī-mukhya-śakti-samanvitā ।
haridrānnaika-rasikā hākinī-rūpa-dhāriṇī ॥ 108॥

majjāsaṁsthā: Who presides over marrow of living beings.
haṁsavatī-mukhya-śakti-samanvitā: Who is attended by Haṁsavatī and other Śaktis.
haridrānnaika-rasikā: Who loves offerings of saffron – flavoured rice.
hākinī-rūpa-dhāriṇī: Who assumes the form of Hākinī.

sahasradala-padmasthā sarva-varṇopa-śobhitā ।
sarvāyudhadharā śukla-saṁsthitā sarvatomukhī ॥ 109॥

sahasradala-padmasthā: Who dwells in the Sahasrāra which is described as a thousand petalled lotus.
sarva-varṇopa-śobhitā: Who shines with all colours.
sarvāyudhadharā: Who is armed with all weapons.
śukla-saṁsthitā: Who presides over the vital fluid in all creatures.
Sarvatomukhī: Who has faces all round and see in all directions.

sarvaudana-prītacittā yākinyambā-svarūpiṇī ।
svāhā svadhā'matir medhā śrutiḥ smṛtir anuttamā ॥ 110॥

sarvaudana-prītacittā: Who loves to have offerings of all kinds of food.
yākinyambā-svarūpiṇī: The Mother who appears in the form of Yākinī.
Svāhā: Who is the deity of Svaha, the sacred exclamation with which oblations are made in sacrificial fire for gods.
Svadhā: The Deity Svadhā, the sacred exclamation uttered while making oblations to the Pitris (manes).
Amati: Who is Amati (Buddhi or knowledge).
Medhā: Who has become intelligence.
Śrutiḥ: Who has become memory.
Anuttama: Who has none superior.

puṇya-kīrtiḥ puṇya-labhyā puṇya-śravaṇa-kīrtanā ।
pulomajārcitā bandha-mocanī barbarālakā ॥ 111॥

puṇya-kīrtiḥ: Who is famed for holiness.
puṇya-labhyā: Who can be attained only through holiness.
puṇya-śravaṇa-kīrtanā: To hear of whom and to praise whom make for holiness.
pulomajārcitā: Who is adored by Pulomā, the consort of Indra
bandha-mocanī: Who liberates the Jīva from the bondage of Samsara.
Barbarālakā:. Who is wavy – haired.

vimarśa-rūpiṇī vidyā viyadādi-jagatprasūḥ ।
sarvavyādhi-praśamanī sarvamṛtyu-nivāriṇī ॥ 112॥

vimarśa-rūpiṇī: Who is of the nature of Vimarśa, the mirror of objectivity which makes Shiva self – aware as Prakāśa (the pure Luminosity), the subject.
Vidyā: Who is Vidya, the knowledge that gives spiritual enlightenment.
viyadādi-jagatprasūḥ: Who is the origin of the whole beginning with the element of Akasha (space).
sarvamṛtyu-nivāriṇī: Who wards off all forms of death.

agragaṇyā'cintyarūpā kalikalmaṣa-nāśinī ।
kātyāyanī kāla-hantrī kamalākṣa-niṣevitā ॥ 113॥

agragaṇyā: Who is to be reckoned as the First in every-thing.
cintyarūpā: Who transcends all thought.
kalikalmaṣa-nāśinī: Who destroys the sins of the degenerate age of Kali.
Kātyāyanī: Who is Kātyāyanī, the sum-total of the effulgence of all the Deities.
kāla-hantrī: Who puts an end to Time, the destroyer of all.
kamalākṣa-niṣevitā: Who is worshipped even by the lotus – eyed Vishnu.

tāmbūla-pūrita-mukhī dāḍimī-kusuma-prabhā ।
mṛgākṣī mohinī mukhyā mṛḍānī mitra-rūpiṇī ॥ 114॥

tāmbūla-pūrita-mukhī: Whose mouth is full of chewing betel.
dāḍimī-kusuma-prabhā: Who shines like a pomegranate flower.
Mṛgākṣī: Whose eyes are like those of a doe.
Mohinī: Who is bewitching beauty.
Mukhyā: Who is known as Mukhya – prana, the first – born of creation. (known as Hiraṇyagarbha or the four – faced Brahma).
Mṛḍānī: Who is the Consort of Mṛḍa, the Divine dispenser of Happiness (i.e. Shiva in His sāttvika aspect).
mitra-rūpiṇī: Who is effulgent like the Sun.

nitya-tṛptā bhakta-nidhir niyantrī nikhileśvarī ।
maitryādi-vāsanā-labhyā mahā-pralaya-sākṣiṇī ॥ 115॥

nitya-tṛptā: Who is eternally contented and happy.
bhakta-nidhiḥ: Who is a treasure to Her devotees.
Niyantrī: Who is the guide and controller of all.
Nikhileśvarī: Who is Ruler of the worlds.
maitryādi-vāsanā-labhyā: Who is attained through loving kindness and other such dispositions.
mahā-pralaya-sākṣiṇī: Who witnesses the dissolution of the whole cosmos.

parā-śaktiḥ parā-niṣṭhā prajñāna-ghana-rūpiṇī ।
mādhvī-pānālasā mattā mātṛkā-varṇa-rūpiṇī ॥ 116॥

parā-śaktiḥ: Who is Parā – śakti, the Supreme Power.
parā-niṣṭhā: Who is the Supreme End and establishment in Faith.
prajñāna-ghana-rūpiṇī: Who is Pure consciousness condensed.
mādhvī-pānālasā: Who is introverted and inactive like one intoxicated with wine.
Mattā: Who is the ego consciousness of Shiva.
mātṛkā-varṇa-rūpiṇī: To whom all the alphabets are related as Her form.

mahā-kailāśa-nilayā mṛṇāla-mṛdu-dorlatā ।
mahanīyā dayā-mūrtir mahāsāmrājya-śālinī ॥ 117॥

mahā-kailāśa-nilayā: Whose abode is the Maha – Kailāśa ( the Bindu in the Sahasrāra).
mṛṇāla-mṛdu-dorlatā: Whose arms are smooth and slender like a pair of lotus stalks.
Mahanīyā: Who is adorable.
Dayā-mūrtiḥ: Who is compassion itself.
mahāsāmrājya-śālinī: To whom belongs the vast empire of the whole universe.

ātmavidyā mahā-vidyā śrī-vidyā kāma-sevitā ।
śrī-ṣoḍaśākṣarī-vidyā trikūṭā kāma-koṭikā ॥ 118॥

Ātmavidyā: Who is Ātmā – Vidyā, the doctrine of the Self.
mahā-vidyā: Who is Maha – Vidyā, the great doctrine (also a deity).
śrī-vidyā: Who is Śrī-Vidyā (the 15 lettered Mantra of the Devi).
kāma-sevitā: Who is meditated upon by Kāmadeva, the god of love.
Śrī-ṣoḍaśākṣarī-vidyā: Who is the Ṣoḍaśākṣarī – Vidyā, the sixteen lettered Mantra of the Devi.
Trikūṭā: Who forms the three Kūṭas or groups of letters of Śrī – Vidyā.
Kāma-koṭikā: Of whom Kāmeśvara (Parama – Shiva) is a mode.

kaṭākṣa-kiṅkarī-bhūta-kamalā-koṭi-sevitā ।
śiraḥsthitā candranibhā bhālasthendra-dhanuḥprabhā ॥ 119॥

kaṭākṣa-kiṅkarī-bhūta-kamalā-koṭi-sevitā: Who can at a mere glance make crores of Lakṣmīs (goddesses of wealth and beauty) wait upon Her.
Śiraḥsthitā: Who dwells in the Sahasrāra in the head.
Candranibhā: Who shines as the Moon in the pericarp of the Sahasrāra lotus.
Bhālasthendra: Who dwells as the Bindu in the syllable Hrīṁ meditated in the forehead.
Dhanuḥprabhā: Who shines in the colours of the rainbow.

hṛdayasthā ravi-prakhyā trikoṇāntara-dīpikā ।
dākṣāyaṇī daitya-hantrī dakṣa-yajña-vināśinī ॥ 120॥

Hṛdayasthā: Who abides in the heart of the devotees for meditation.
Ravi prakhyā: Who blazes in the heart like the Sun.
